Here at Black Rose, I understand what a challenging time this is to currently be living in. I am committed to maintaining the level of service you are accustomed to, however there are some necessary changes that must be implemented to ensure the safety of all. As much as I am thrilled to be back behind the chair, we all must be more mindful than ever with the presence of the different variants on top of the regular daily cases of Covid-19. Although the strict cleaning process between guests and restrictions never waivered, it is more important now than ever that the following safety protocols are adhered to without exception.
All guests are required to wear a mask (properly! Fitting snugly around the nose and mouth at all times) upon entering the building and for the entirety of your appointment. Please choose a mask that goes around your ears, not your head, and one you don't mind possibly getting stained during a colour appointment. You are welcome to bring your own mask, or one will be provided to you for $2. There is a bin located at the front door that you may recycle your disposable mask on your way out if you choose.
When you arrive at the salon, please call or message me from your vehicle. If you are unable to message me, just peek inside the front door - if there are no guests visible, you may enter.
If you are coming by the salon to pick up product or for any other reason, please do not enter if you see another guest at the check out desk.
Please come alone to your appointment. This includes children.
PERSONAL ITEMS LIMITED
I ask that you please only bring necessary items with you, no large purses or bags - just your cell phone, keys and method of payment. You may bring your own drink.
CANCELLATIONS DUE TO SICKNESS
Please DO NOT come to your appointment if you are ill in any way, if you are awaiting Covid-19 test results, or have been in contact with anyone who is ill or been tested positive for Covid-19. If you must cancel due to illness/close-contact, I do appreciate as much notice as possible, however there will be no penalty. No-show no-call fees for any reason will apply. Cancellation fees within the 48 hour window for non-covid related reasons still apply.
WHAT I AM DOING
I will be wearing a mask for the duration of your appointment, as well as taking my temperature every morning.
All surfaces, tools, chairs, my own hands, bathroom etc will be thoroughly cleaned and disinfected between every guest.
Retail & waiting area is not accessible to guests at this time, I will pack all purchases personally.
Drinks & snacks will not be served for the time being.
Walk-in clients will not be accepted until further notice.
In order to have better control over my schedule, online booking is currently disabled. If you are a new guest, please contact me through the contact form by clicking the button at the top of this page. For existing guests, feel free to call or text to book.
I am reserving 15-20 minutes between guests to ensure the salon is thoroughly cleaned. This limits the number of guests I can see in a day, so be sure to pre-book your appointment in advance to avoid disappointment. This also means being on time is more crucial than ever - lateness will not be tolerated.
Any guest that chooses not to comply with any of the above terms may be refused service. Your service provider has the right to refuse service if they feel the guest has not adhered to safe conditions outside of or within the salon environment. Your service provider has the right to terminate the service at any point during the visit if they feel unsafe or that guidelines are not being followed.
The safety and wellbeing of all guests is, and always has been, first priority. I also need to stay healthy if I want to keep working behind the chair!
